If you’re a first home buyer there’s no time to waste as many properties priced for this group are selling quickly.

Our clients, Kieren and Candice were looking to buy their first home.  Taking their parents advice, they contacted our Home Loan Specialist John Rashleigh to begin the pre-approval process.

John went through the home loan process, providing information on what is involved in purchasing an existing property or building a new home, and general associated costs. 

He covered areas including stamp duty, lenders mortgage insurance, plus government incentives such as the Qld Government First Home Grant of $15K, and the existing Federal Government First Home Loan Deposit Scheme.

As with most of our clients, we began reviewing their financial documentation and conducting due diligence to assess their suitability for a home loan.  This is an important part of our general process, and essential for a pre-approval.

Half way through the pre-approval process, Kieren and Candice, found their ideal first home; a cosy well-built two-bedroom apartment in Brisbane.

With a lot of interest in the apartment, the couple were keen to secure it.  John worked extremely hard and quickly to intercept the pre-approval with a contract of sale.  Within five working days, he was able to gain an unconditional approval.   This is a fantastic result for our clients and us as well.
